It refers to all the six days observed as Mahalaya, Shashthi, Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami, Maha Nabami and Vijayadashami.Durga Puja festival is celebrated from the sixth to tenth day of bright lunar fortnight in the Hindu calendar month of Ashvin.
